Businesses remain solely responsible for their products, services, pricing, representations, customer relationships, and compliance with applicable laws.
This section makes the directory’s role clear without restricting users from posting honest reviews; federal guidance protects consumers’ ability to share honest opinions about businesses.
User Accounts
Some website features require users to create an account.
Users are responsible for:

Contacting Businesses and Transactions
NPR Business and Services provides directory information to help users discover and contact businesses. We are not a party to any agreement, purchase, appointment, payment, service, delivery, refund, dispute, or other transaction between a user and a listed business.
Users and businesses are responsible for:
- Confirming prices, availability, credentials, insurance, licenses, and service details
- Agreeing on payment terms, scheduling, warranties, cancellations, and refunds
- Protecting personal and financial information
- Resolving disputes directly with one another
- Following applicable laws and regulations

Intellectual Property and Content Permission
